We have many celebration in Iran, most of them are statutory holidays. Most our celebrations are religious, since Iran is Muslim country, religious celebrations are holiday for us, for example Prophet Mohammad's birth day is holiday.After Rmadan month, we have Fetr celebration, it is for two days holiday in Iran. In generally we have seven days celebration holiday in a year. Also we have national holiday, the day petroleum was be national in Iran.In Iran there is traditional holiday, that is called "Norooz". This is for days long. In Iran there are another holiday but they aren't celebrations, those are mourning, for example the day Prophet Mohammad pasted the way. We have five days in a year mourning holiday. We have other celebrations and mourning that aren't holiday and most of them are religious.
